What are the main types of signal isolators? Taihua Xiaobian today will give you a brief introduction to the main types of signal isolators.
Main types of signal isolators:
1. Isolator
In industrial production, to increase the load capacity of the instrument and ensure that the instrument connected to the same signal does not interfere with each other, improve the electrical safety performance. The input voltage, current or frequency, resistance and other signals need to be collected, amplified, calculated, and anti-interference processing, and then output isolated current and voltage signals, safe to the secondary instrument or plc\dcs use.
2. Distributor
Industrial sites generally need to use a two-wire transmission mode, not only to provide 24V distribution power for the transmitter and other primary instruments, but also to collect, amplify, calculate, and perform anti-interference processing of the input current signal, and then output isolated current and voltage signals for the use of secondary instruments or other instruments behind.
3. Safety grid
Some special industrial sites (such as gas companies and chemical plants) not only need two-wire transmission, both to provide distribution power and signal isolation function, but also need to have safety spark explosion-proof performance, reliably curb the power supply, prevent the ignition between the power supply, signal and ground, current limiting, buck dual limit signal and power loop. Limit the amount of energy to enter dangerous places within the safety quota.
