In addition, there is also a common place that the two application raw materials are the same, all zinc oxide, zinc oxide arrester is a lightning arrester with excellent maintenance characteristics. By using the excellent discrete system photocurrent characteristics of zinc oxide, the current flow through the arrester is very small (microampere or mAh level) at all normal operating standard voltage; When the overvoltage is effective, the resistor plummets, releasing the kinetic energy of the overvoltage to achieve the actual effect of maintenance. The difference between this type of arrester and the traditional arrester is that it has no charge and discharge gap, and the discrete system characteristics of zinc oxide have the effect of discharging and disconnecting. For the different areas, the rated voltage of the system available for the two is not the same, resulting in differences in the main parameters and design scheme structure and processing technology.
